I visited united states as a tourist from Malaysia and visited NYC Time Square last month. I signed a "Prepaid - Pay by the Day plans" at Ameritel Mobile - 200 W 40TH ST and had been informed by the staff that i will be able to re-fund the activation fees when i return to my country on 31 May 2013. This is also explicitly indicated in the receipt received. But i had waited for the refund amount into my credit card account but as of today 6 Jun 2013, I had yet to see the refund credit back to the account.
Will anyone be able to advice on how long this process normally takes before I receive this refund amount? Did I miss out any process steps needed to trigger the above?
