So i took a look at my credit report and i find a 211 dollar charge for tmobile on my Statement. what gets me is i don't even have an accout with tmobile. so of course i try to call customer care and no one can help me with out a mobile number which i don't have. so of course i get routed to the non existant fraud department. which just reroutes me to customer service who can't help me!! this is just completely unreal. i had considered becoming a tmobile customer but if this is what they pass off as service no thanks. i'm just glad to know what kind of way they plan to bend me over  and rob me blind, before i spend hundreds of dollars and waste anymore of my time

Early EIP payments inflates bill

$

I dont quite understand this EIP payment system thats been implemented. It appears as if for every payment I make early on the EIP, it charges me double, but only one is getting applied.

For example. I start with a monthly balance of 0.00 (cause I pay my full bill on time every month).

I then want to pay $50 toward my EIP. My account gets charged the $50 (withdrawn from bank account) its applied toward my account (TMobile balance now -$50)

On my next bill, there is an additional there is a charge for $50 for that early EIP payment, however instead of bringing my balance to 0, my bill skyrockets and bounces all around.

For example, my first month with tMobile bill due $155.xx this was for half a month and then a full month of service, so that was expected.

The next month (Feb) it drops to $111.xx (didn't pay any extra EIP)

For March its then $107.xx (again no EIP)

Then I purchased an additional iPhone using the EIP so now I understand my bill will jump about $17 a month. However I also payed some early EIP and my April bill skyrockets to $150.xx.

So for May, I decide that i wasn't going to pay any toward the EIP, and low and behold my bill is back down to $118.xx a month.

Stuff is crazy confusing.

Setting Up Employee Discount

I work for MetroPCS and I recently ported in my employee line to T-Mobile.

How do I set up my employee discount?

I followed the steps on the advantage program screen, but it says that our company is not eligible for a discount.

I ported in over the phone and the representative told me their system was down, so they could not check up on the discount for me.

I am 100% sure we are eligible for this, as we are within the same company and other co-workers have already set up their account.

I have already created an online account but could not find any links for further help.

Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks.

Being Billed for a Phone I Bought with Cash

$

Hey all,

About 8 months ago I bought an LG G3 from store 8873 in Manhattan (2nd and 74th). It was one of the more hellacious experiences I've had in a retail store and took about 5 hours all-in, but I got my phone. That said, I'm still being billed for it despite paying cash for the phone (I was ineligible for financing due to my low credit score). I'm not sure how this happened, but since it's on AutoPay I just noticed it now. To date I've paid basically an extra $300 or so tacked on to my monthly bill. How do I rectify this? I'd go to the retail store myself but I'm 3000 miles away in California where I live now.

Thanks,

$0 balance: IMEI still showing financed

$

I recently bought a phone that had a financed IMEI number when checking: Check if Your Phone is Eligible for the T-Mobile 4G Network | IMEI Status Check

The phone is currently not being financed, it was paid off in full and it reported as not financed on 3/18 when it was paid off.

Now the IMEI once again states that there is an outstanding balance, so I called up a T-Mobile Rep who told me that the phone in fact does not have a balance.

Is this something that can be fixed?

Thank you!

Prepaid Account members CAN NOT get call / text Logs. Why?

$

i know what t mobile says.......its not for prepaid...only postpaid can get call/text logs...

Lets look deeper into this. we all know the only logical reason why tmobile wont give prepaid people call logs is because its an incentive to go postpaid.

I came to this conclusion after finding out that t mobile is the only company that doesn't offer their prepaid account members access to call logs. Verizon, boost,at&t, EVEN METRO GETTRO offers their prepaid customers access to call logs so why wont tmobile. ?

I want my call logs for the last 2 months. There are numbers that i must have.IT IS IMPERATIVE!

So I talked to online chat customer service agent "krist", they promised me that, just this one time to keep me from going to Verizon.... they would do it thru the Mytmobile site. i go there, logs are nowhere to be found,

then i talk to another chat agent that tells me to go down to a store. I dont have a car so i take public transportation all the way to the city, just be told by the store,...they wont do it.

so i get home i call 611 they say only a court order can get those records.

This company has given me the absolute run around, JUST TO GET A FEW PHONE NUMBERS!!! It is very odd to me that i cant have instant access to MY PHONE CALLS! .

IT  really shouldn't bE THIS DIFFICULT They wont be breaking the law by giving me this info?

BOOOOOOOOO.

This company is going to lose a solid $60-$70 a month just because they are stubborn....

THATS BAD BUSINESS!

re ticket #4297168

I got the payment received text last month and today. It apparently was a conflict between the launcher/phone and messenger app.

Textra, QKSMS, simply stop working on this device. I've finally manage to customize the default message app. Hopefully, things will continue to work.

I didn't want to say last month as I wished to double check on the settings.

Thanks for the help.

T-Mobile gift cards-misleading and conflicting information

$

0

I'm a new T-Mobile customer, and just signed up last month for the 2 Lines $100 a month plan. Coming from Sprint, I wound up having to purchase 2 new phones as well, and am paying these off on the monthly plan. We were out grocery shopping and saw T Mobile gift cards in the gift card rack, and decided to purchase some to use in paying down our balance due on the phones, which is quite high. We purchased (4) $50 cards. The verbiage on the front of the card says "Use for a Monthly Plan or for Pay as you go". We have a monthly plan. It also says "Access to No Annual Contract services" which is also us since we have no annual contract, and also indicates "Requires Active T Mobile Account" which we also have. I checked the back of the card, and it says "Use refill for access to any T-Mobile No Annual Contract service or to purchase ringtones, games and wallpaper". We have a "no annual contract" service, and it says this card can access it and (presumably) pay our bill with it.

As I am finding out, the printed words don't seem to mean much on these cards

1. Took these to the T Mobile store near my house, and was told these can only be used to pay for "prepaid" plans, which we are not signed up for. The salesperson said she doesn't even have a button on her register to push to use this card. She offered me no advice, just said sorry and walked away.

2. I then called the 800 number for T-Mobile support, was told that this card COULD be used to pay additional funds towards the phones on my plan, but she didn't have the system there to do so, and said I should visit a different T Mobile store as they would accept the cards for payment toward my phones or plan. I asked her to check with her supervisor just to confirm that this would work since the store person said no it wouldn't. She did check with her supervisor, and noted that in my account as well that it will work.

3. I went to the second store as was suggested to me by the agent at the 800 number, this is where the store associate then actually tried to use this T Mobile card on the register to pay my bill, but the register would not let the payment go through. The salesperson suggested I contact T-Mobile customer care again, for assistance.

I have to say that up until the point of buying these cards, I had a very positive experience with T-Mobile and their stores and especially the sales person that helped me pick out the phones we purchased. However, this runaround that I'm getting in paying the bill is quite frustrating, and I'm not really sure where to go with this any more. How can 2 stores tell me that "no, you can't use those for your plan" but the person on the 800 number (as well as her supervisor!!!) say they can be used on my plan?

If these cards are truly only meant for a "prepaid" plan as the salesperson at the first store indicated, why doesn't it say "prepaid plan use only" on the card instead of "Use refill for access to any T-Mobile No Annual Contract Service?" Seems very misleading to me, and I'm certainly aware that I don't have a "prepaid" plan, so I wouldn't have even purchased these if that wording was there.

So now, T-Mobile has my $200 for the gift cards, and I have 4 T-Mobile gift cards that either can or can't be used to pay my bill depending on who I talk to at T-Mobile. Can anyone offer any assistance, advice, or suggestions on what to do at this point? I'm going in a circle with T-Mobile it seems.

Unauthorized Changes

$

The other night I went on this site and noticed my account was past due.  T-Mobil switched me to paperless billing without my approval on 2/11.  I changed it back.  On further inspection they also enrolled me in Jump! 2 Bundle for $10 extra a month on 2/17 without my approval and changed my plan to SC FAM UNL T&T on 2/19 for an extra $20 a month, also without my authorization. I immediately cancelled Jump and changed my plan back to what it was. Unfortunately the changes don't take effect until the next billing cycle so I have to pay for these unauthorized changes.  If I didn't just pay $600 for a Samsung Galaxy 5 from them 2 months ago I would cancel my plan and go with another carrier. I have been a customer for 20 years and thought T-Mobile was a company I could trust.  Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Tmobile claiming phone is not returned Fort Worth Texas

So, like SO many on here I returned my phones i ordered through the jump prgram and they have been verified received but "not accounted for".  Just so anyone who is going through this knows, there are over 27,000 reports in the BBB for just this exact same thing in the last 3 years.  By the way, they are getting results just so you know.

I recieved this today, just lovely ....

T-Mobile Handset Order Research Request
Handset Order Reference:  05534007

Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile. We show no record of the equipment being received by our warehouse. You may want to contact the shipper concerning the shipment. Please allow up to 7 business days from the date the device is received at the warehouse for an adjustment to the account to be made.

Thank You,

Handset Order Research Department
T-Mobile USA, Inc.

UPS shipping return label  1Z90X2271342009217 . It shipped out 2/26/15. it was delivered 3/2/15. Signed for at the recieving dock at 4500 Cambridge Road Fort Worth Texas .  I printed over 30 peices off the BBB, Ripoff report ect.. for cases just like this.

Our issue: we used the JUMP UPGRADE.  when the phones got to our house (8 days later) I was told I would not be able to use any other method to return our trade in phones and would need to use their prepaid label , (which states at the top RESTRICTED SERVICES) this means i am NOT ALLOWED to put insurance or tracking on the package. At that point Customer Care (yeah right ) told me I can just send back the new phones then and recind my JUMP UPGRADE CONTRACT. so I did, BECAUSE-I can ship it at my speed, track it and insure it.

Also, the jump upgrade phones go to a POSTAGE PAID PO BOX in york pennsylvania , you are not privy to the actual address they go to and they dont go back to the warehouse in Texas(Brightpoint) they go to ASSURANT SOLUTIONS.

So we did and after the handset research request we get the above.  I think they do this twice before they bill you.  Anyway. I have talked to customer care over 7 hours trying to get it streightened out.  But really we know whats coming, they are going to try and pin us for this, our only saving grace is we didnt use their label and can prove delivery.

Although I am sure I wont be able to get anything from UPS(because they did deliver it) for these missing iPhone 6's after they are done with their investigation, I do have the power to file the BBB report, as well we are going to file a police report for theft(because the amount due will be over 1500$ after everything is said and done it qualifies as GRAND THEFT under the law, (anything over 950$) ) and we will be naming Tmobile warehouse on the report.

We will file the UPS investigation report along with the above email and all our paperwork proving it was sent as well.  We are going to file with BBB on Day 31 (we are currently on day 24 since the order was written, and day 19 since they phones were delivered) from the delivery date to STAY our 30 days stated by the TMOBILE employee at the store.

I suggest everyone passover the JUMP upgrade unless you have the ability to prove delivery and insure it.  take pictures before you send it in, get a witness at a UPS store to pack your box, buy one of the gps trackers that are cheap from eBay/amazon to throw in the box.  This is a huge scam.  DO not use any prepaid shipping labels you have no protection, first class has no native tracking, it must be added on(but you cant add it on as per the label).

We had a exchange phone go missing last year as well, which is why we refused a mail in anything ever again without proof.  Too bad, we are leaving as soon as we have this all settled.

Watch your phones, they are the link to your accounts, they are payday if they are claimed to be lost or damaged and IMHO we are paying for these phones, TMO says are they are lost and they are selling them to third partys on top of our payments.  Double dipping as it were. Thats why there is "NO PHONE NUMBER TO THE WAREHOUSE".  You think there really is no phone number? There is a phone number, its one of 3 hubs for the return phones in the nation.  Its just that it is on a need to know basis, and apparantly not even customer care needs to know-because they don't.

Keep records folks, thats all Cheers!

unlimited bill just increased in price supposed to be fixed rate

Long story short, I live in Vermont in the winter time, their is no service, and the roaming is god awful. Verizon even though you never roam, and sprint never limited me to roaming when I Had them in the past. so about 2 months ago a manager was able to help me, and we decided he best option for me was to change my plan to the unlimited plan, and the cost of that would be about $56 because I was getting better rate since I have no service most of the winter, and I was going to cancel my service and go back to either Verizon, or just switch to at&t, but neither had unlimited data, and when I travel or am out of town with no WiFi I stream a lot because I am a big sports fan so I need unlimited. so to keep me with T-Mobile she game me a "special rate" I have paid the last 2 bills, and now this months bill is damn near $90, and I call to complain about it because some one made a mistake, and the lady was not very polite, and gave me the I don't care attitude, but said she fixed the problem, but its still $10 more then what I am supposed to be paying. I was getting ready to add a iPad to my plan since I just got a brand new iPad air 2, and now if some one can not help me and get my plan back to the amount I agreed to pay I will be cancelling my service, and I wont even be paying my bill for this month since I did not agree to that price.

T-Mobile claiming phone wasn't returned

$

I had an HTC M7 die and returned it through the Jump program. Soon after I started getting messages from T-Mobile telling me to return the phone. On 3 different occasions I contacted supported and provided the UPS shipping number I received from T-Mobile that showed that the phone had been recieved by them. On 2 occasions they promised me that I would not be charged. Big surprised I got hit with a $430 charge through autopay. On contacting support they opened a third investigation into what happened to the phone after T-Mobile received it. I was told until that finished they cannot escalate this issue. They have already taken my money; does that mean I'm baically screwed here?
