I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy S4 for $580.00, and have an EIP implemented. Instead of waiting to pay a certain amount per month, I've been submitting payments in small increments each week. For this month's bill of 8/10/13, I have a total charge of $145.50 that I apparently have to pay off ($125.50 since I had a $20 credit from last month).
$80 of my current bill is from the EIP-partial charge, which looks like this:
Plan #20130702249147 Unpaid Balance $420.00-Partial Charge | $20.00 |
Plan #20130702249147 Unpaid Balance $440.00-Partial Charge | $20.00 |
Plan #20130702249147 Unpaid Balance $480.00-Partial Charge | $40.00 |
I did a little bit of research to figure out what these charges were. Some users say they were new charges, other said they're mistakes. The more I thought about it, the more I realized that the "charges" reflected payments that I made throughout the first month I purchased the S4. The question is, why are these payments showing up as charges rather than credits? According to the EIP Document and FAQ, they're supposed to show up as credits. Instead, my bill is $80 higher than what I had expected.
Is there any way for a representative to fix this? This is not what I had agreed on.
