I have a Samsung G2 and it has been disappointing at best. The process for just getting the phone upgraded from the Nexus phone I had (was outstanding) and it was just about a epic battle. Getting the rebate back was a struggle in itself. The sim card has been replaced twice due to a repeated sim card error. Now.... billing. It is one thing to kill my time.. it is another to mess with my budget when I am providing for my first child.
I play a few games on my phone and kept getting error about host not found when making purchases. I check my Google account for the purchases and it shows as the request timed out and the purchase was auto canceled. Unfortunately, I was billed for these items that were canceled transactions. These canceled transactions are now to the total of around $500.
As I stated before I have been to customer service locations and explained my problem. The only reply was to contact the 3rd party. So I contact the company and they can not do anything without a transaction number. Being the transaction was canceled there is no number to provide the third party.
I have several times now contacted tMobile phone support, and even online support for help. After several attempts I cant get any further than "contact the 3rd party biller" even after I explain that the transaction never made it to a 3rd party and was canceled but I was still charged anyway.
I used to receive outstanding service and support. I don't understand why this is such a issue and cant be resolved.
I can access a full list of all transactions from my Google account (with time, transaction id) in just a few clicks. All I need is a full list of all the "premium" service charges and transaction numbers so I can identify which ones are valid charges and which ones are the tMobile time out error.
The billing cycles that are in question are the following :
- 7/20/12 - 8/19/12 | PREMIUM SERVICES $21.34
- 6/20/12 - 7/19/12 | PREMIUM SERVICES $80.68
- 5/20/12 - 6/19/12 | PREMIUM SERVICES $305.09
- 4/20/12 - 5/19/12 | PREMIUM SERVICES $130.14
All I want is for this to be made right. Since the 3rd party hasn't seen a dime of these transactions I would ideally like the amount to be credited to my tMobile account once the "time out sim card error" charges are identified. If I am able to resolve this my goal is to upgrade to the Note 2 phone. If not then i will have to evaluate other options.
I have been extreemly patient with this completely unnessessary situation. I dont believe i am asking for too much when I request the information I need to verify charges to my account and don't understand why this is even a issue. Much less why I have had to jump through so many steps and the kicker.... why my phone hangs up when I get a customer survey call.
Please advise if this can even be resolved or if anyone is even interested in confirming the charges to my account?
