Help Plz !!!! Refill Card Problems ..

I purchased a mobile broadband and a 50 dollar refill fastcard which I redeemed using the number on the back of the card and it said it was redeemed but I go online to my account and the balance is still at 0 dollars and when I call to redeem it again it says its already in use so my question is how do I figure out where the money went to? And also is a data pass the same as a refill card or can I purchase a data pass with a refill card? Please help. Thanks in advance.
