"email address is missing or invalid" issue

It looks like this is a known issue.  I am trying to upgrade my phone and I keep getting the message, "Your profile email address is missing or invalid. In order to upgrade, you must have a valid email address in your My T-Mobile profile."  I am 100% certain I have entered a valid email address (and typed it in correctly.)  Please notify me when this issue has been resolved.  Thanks!
