Hi,
In January I cancelled my service with T-Mobile, which happen to be only 4 days into my service month. However, instead of prorating the final bill - I was charged for the entire month. I had joined T-Mobile in November 2006 on a 1 year service plan; and then from that point on it was month-to-month. I liked T-Mobile (and I think that I showed loyalty), but it just did not pay for me to have a monthly bill since I was probably averaging no more than 15 call minutes a month for the past year, if not more.
From some of what I have read on the web, I'm not sure if the statement about not prorating was in the Terms of Service Agreement at the time that I joined (I'm looking for my service agreement)? Also, I read some comments about having to contact T-Mobile to cancel service before porting? I did contact them because I needed some of my information to port my number. I told the person that I spoke to at the time what I needed the information for - they did not say that I had to do anything more?
Any assistance on getting the bill prorated would be greatly appreciated.
