I submitted my claim along with the final AT&T bill on 1/31/13. I'm coming up on the 8 week mark and the status is still listed as "Received". Any attempt to find out what's going on with my claim leads to a dead end. The last conversation via online chat lead me to an status line (1-877-311-8853) and the rep told me they would be able to get me the details. I called the number and it is an automated system with no information on my rebate status and no way of talking to anyone.
I have read several post on this forum as well as other forums the nightmare getting their ETF reimbursed from T-mobile. T-mobile has proven to be far from transparent and simple as they claim to be in their advertisements when it comes to this matter. Any phone calls to their customer service line leads to the same answer of "it's being processed" with no further details.
I have already paid my final bill and ETF to AT&T and have paid my first month bill with T-mobile and still in the dark with my claim.
T-mobile really needs to fix this as this seems to be an ongoing problem.
