Five months ago, I contacted TMO about switching my service from Verizon to TMO. The representative assured me that military veterans are eligible for a 15% discount. This discount was instrumental in my decision to switch providers.
I purchased four phones and went to the TMO store (not third-party store) at 2000 Mallory Lane Suite 180, Franklin, TN to activate my account. Leila, one of the employees there, assured me that I would be eligible for a 15% discount. I gave her my DD-214 and driver's license, both of which she copied. She then entered my discount into the system.
Here it is, five months later, and still no discount. I've contacted TMO multiple times now, and nobody seems to be able to fix the problem. Several of them have asked me to resubmit the paperwork online, usually pointing me to a T-Mobile Corporate Advantage link, which doesn't apply to military veterans. NOBODY at TMO is willing to accept my DD-214 over fax or e-mail and fix the problem.
Last Wednesday, I tried online chat. The representative was clueless, so I asked to speak to her supervisor. She connected me to Katrina A, who was also unable to fix the problem. I asked to speak voice to her supervisor. She got Maria to call me, who promised me that she would call me back on Friday to let me know that the problem was fixed. She called back Friday saying that she was still waiting. Today, Maria called me back asking what the company name is. THERE'S NO COMPANY NAME!!! This is for a United States Military Veteran Discount. What part of this is so difficult to understand?!?!??
Five months and HOURS on the phone and online chat is more than enough. I want this problem fixed. Extremely unhappy.
