It would seem I am not the first to have this issue with Tmobile. I was activated to an area that is not in the Tmobile Coverage area. I do get minimal service where I sleep but absolutely no service where I spend most of my time (WORK). I went to the corporate Tmobile store in the nearest city to cancel my service only to be told that I would have to pay an ETF fee. I had to argue with them about even suspending it and was told I would still have to pay my monthly bill. After much debate they decided they were able to suspend my account but that I have 30some months to reactivate it or I still have to pay the fee. This is very frustrating as I had to get a phone through a provider that covers the base I work on, and who knows if Tmobile will work wherever I am stationed next. ALSO in the process of this I was told that I still had an UNBELIEVABLE amount of time left on my contract as my phone that I was already having problems with that they would not exchange or replace is over a year and a half old so how would I have a year and a half left on a 2 year contract. I have had tmobile for over 8 years and I am sad to see that they have gone from such a great company to such a horrible one. I will absolutely recommend any other provider possible to anyone who needs a phone and once I am finally done dealing with them I never will again. Hopefully their new merger brings them people who care at all about there customers before there company goes under.
