Pay As You Go Legacy to Pay By The Day switch for Gold Status Memebers

I understand things has changed this August (most confusing change I have witnessed by an org in a while).  I just reviewed the pre-paid website and I have couple of questions on whats noted at the end of this page: http://prepaid-phones.t-mobile.com/prepaid-plans

Pay By The Day: Service available for 90 days (one year for $100 refills) after activation/refill. You will be charged for each day you use services. Daily rate charges apply when you send or receive any call or message, including calls to voicemail and other calling features. Plan options with data are charged the daily rate when any data usage occurs, including background data connections or automatic data syncing by applications or features. The daily rate for each plan option will be deducted each time you sign up for plan in a day. A day is 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. If a call spans multiple days (e.g., from 11:58 p.m. to 12:05 a.m.), you may be charged the daily rate for each day.

Currently I am a PAYG legacy member with gold status for couple of years now, if I switch to the Pay By The Day plan will my credit be valid for a year since I already hit the $100 threshold?  I am trying to understand or at least find someone at T-Mobile that can give me a direct answer on what will happen to my account when I switch to per day plan.
