Final bill charged whole month, not pro rated

I had tmobile but had to change providers, due to the fact where I lived was a dead spot.  I was six days in to the billing cycle and changed to a different carrier, tmobile sent me a bill for the whole month and said they don't pro rate the last bill.  I had added two lines in May 2010, but don't remember this being part of terms and conditions.  Calling customer service hasn't helped.  It is frustrating me right now. Is there anything that I could do?
