Returned a phone to T-Mobile retail store a week ago. Still haven't received my funds back

Hi - just wanted to either raise awareness or to see if my experience is unique.  I purchased a Google Nexus 4 from my local T-mobile retail store for full price ($549).  I had some screen issues with it, so I returned it about a week later on 2/7/13.  The sales rep that helped me processed the return and swipped my Mastercard to return the funds back.  It is now a week later and I still haven't received my funds back.  I called today and was told it takes 10 to 15 business days for returns to be completed!

 

Holy cow - it only took them 1 second to suck my money out of my account, but it takes them 15 business days for them to put it back?  Is this normal practice?  At other retailers, returns take 1 or 2 business days at the most and sometimes they are immediate.  What gives here?
