We are always sad to lose a valued customer, but we don't want you walking away without knowing what to expect from us. After canceling your service or porting your number to a different carrier, you should receive at least one final bill from T-Mobile. Depending on your billing method, what you see on that final bill varies. See Billing methods: Bill Current vs. Bill Arrears for more information including how to determine what billing method you have.
Note: In order to get the most out of your service, we recommend waiting until the end of your current billing cycle to cancel.
Bill Arrears Billing
Your bill will include:
- Charges for your monthly rate plan and features through the end of your current billing cycle.
- Any early termination fees (if applicable) depending on your service agreement end date.
- Any additional one-time charges, usage or services in the last bill cycle (e.g., overage or market purchases).
- Associated taxes
- Any adjustments or bill credits owed
Note: If you have a recurring corporate discount, it will not be applied on the final bill. - If you have an Equipment Installment Plan or Extended Payment Schedule, the total remaining charges will be added to the last bill.
- If you have EasyPay, we will deduct your final amount as usual.
If you paid a deposit upon activation, you must wait 30 days before the credit balance can be refunded due to final charges that may post to the account. You can call Customer Care to request a refund for any remaining credit balance. Learn more here.
Important: If you have a Signal Booster, you will be mailed a kit to return the Signal Booster to T-Mobile upon canceling your account. Failure to return the device can result in a non-return fee applied to your final bill.
