Hello. I signed up for a pay as you go account, and have used it on two occasions in the pay by the day mode. When not in that mode, I have left in the pay per use mode. I have never made a phone call or sent a text with the phone nor have I given anyone your the number.
In the last two weeks I have been assessed three text charges. As a result, I have turned off texting on the phone - but when I actually want to text with it, this could be an inconvenience. What should I do?
Also - your customer service would not refund the $0.30. Clearly, I dont care about the $0.30 but was surprised when speaking with your call center that he would not reverse due to the principle. I asked him how he would feel if he was charged for something he didnt buy, he said he wouldnt mind as he understands how cell service works in the US.
Anyways - what do I do? Do you change my number? Do you reverse any fees if they begin to add up if I reactivate texting. My next extended US trip is in November so I would like to resolve by then.
