I bought a phone in a T Mobile Corporate Store, not an authorized dealer, and tried returning it. They did not have the cash in the register to hand it out (even though I paid cash THE DAY BEFORE)! So I was forced with the only, inconvenient, option of receiving a corporate check, through the mail. The worker, who gave me such a hard time, said it would take 4-5 business days to arrive in my mail box. It has been OVER A WEEK, and no check sitting in my mail box. I call T Mobile customer care, and they say, "We have no record of this corporate check under your account for a refund." So they tell me to call the point of purchase (the store). So, back to the beginning, I call the store. THE SAME GUY ANSWERS (after me having to call using a different phone number that is not listed under my account). He answered almost instantly (wow, fast service don't you say)? So, I explain the situation, and before I even get a tenth of the way through it he says he already knows the situation, and that they said that the corporate check refund was just CONFIRMED 2-3 days ago. I am really, excuse my language, pi__ed. I spent over SEVEN HUNDRED HARD EARNED CASH to buy this phone. I want the money. I wanted it cash, but forced a check. A corporate check I can trust, but can I trust I will get it. Going through this is really stressful (and the fact that it is A LOT of money, has made it a ton more stressful)!
I don't necessarily know what the question I am asking is, but if anyone has input or if any T Mobile Customer Care Representatives help out that would be great. After going through this I am almost distrusting the whole T Mobile Company. After being with it for over 15 years, going from contract to prepaid. I have lost faith.
