Last month, I went to my local TMobile retail store and looked at new phones. I spoke with the Rep there, and he hooked me up with a Note 3. He also told me that I could save a lot of money with a new simple choice plan. I looked at the numbers and he was right. I went with his suggestion and lowered my bill quite a bit. Now this month, I look at my new bill and see there is a $200 rate migration fee added on. This was never discussed or disclosed in the retail store. I specifically asked if what he showed my was all I would be paying and he said it was. My fiancé, who is also on my plan, obtained an upgrade last year when they still did the 2 year upgrades. If I had known about the RMF, I would have never upgraded. I also traded in my old phone, so reversing everything is out of the window.
