Hi, I just recently switched carriers over to t-mobile for the sole fact that they have included roaming to mexico. I go to Mexico often (Tijuana) and I would really like to have the texting/internet feature down there. So I bought the iPhone thinking it would be great to be a t-mobile customer from now on.
I get to the store and I cant have roaming if I dont do the credit-check. Here's the thing, I know my credit is bad (bankrupcy due to medical bills), or borderline bad. I have a credit card for rebuilding my credit, and credit unions do approve me for credit cards if they personally check my credit history.
However, I believe t-mobile just runs a credit check thru a computer and will instantly deny me, and from what I've read its a hard inquiry and it will lower my credit score, which I am trying to rebuild.
Anyways, the question is, if the plan is the same (50/month unlimited everything 1 GB 4G), why cant I have the roaming feature added to the prepay plan? the credit plan would charge the exact same amount.
