I upgraded (not JUMP) my line from a Note 3 to the iPhone 6 Plus on 9/12/14. I was never sent the EIP e-mail (yes, I've checked all folders). Each time I login to my account to check the order status, it says "EIP Pending Approval". I ordered the phone through the browser on my mobile device and it doesn't allow you to sign for it this way. Here's what I've done so far:
1) Called T-Mobile and was told that the e-mail would be resent (it never was)
2) Called T-Mobile and was told that, since I logged in using my phone number/password, the EIP didn't actually need to be signed. The pending would change on the 19th when the item(s) shipped.
3) Called T-Mobile (just to verify info) and was told the EIP would be e-mailed within 24 hours and she sent it up to her supervisor (it wasn't emailed)
4) Used Online Chat with a representative who told me she couldn't do anything about the EIP and that I needed to call.
5) Went into a local T-Mobile Retail Outlet and had them call retail support (I was disconnected after holding for 1 hr). Their retail support wasn't sure if I needed to sign an EIP or not.
I'm trying to get answers to the following:
1) Do I need to sign an EIP or not?
2) If NO, why is my order status saying EIP Pending Approval. If YES, why can't I get someone to send me the e-mail?
3) Also, if YES, will my product be delayed in shipping for something that was not my fault?
Needless to say, after 3 phone calls; a chat; and a visit to a local store - still not having received a straightforward answer - I'm getting a little frustrated.
