Bogus Water Damage Charge on UNDER WARRANTY Item

Hello:

Can someone from TMobile please reply?

I sent my LG G-Flex in for repair since it would not charge using any charger except the factory; I tired at least a dozen chargers, including some at the TMOBILE STORE and nothing, nothing would work.

I Spoke with a TMobile rep who advised to send it in and for 25 they would send me a refurbished one that was just like new; I went ahead and did this - to my complete dismay, my bill was 150 higher than it should have been. I called to find out why only to be told that my phone had the "water damage" indicator go off.

That is complete and utter nonsense since my phone has never seen water (I take care of my stuff) much less been around it to any extent of getting wet in any way, shape, or form. I'm not happy that the rep would only credit 1/2 of this back since there is absolutely no way to know that this was not "tripped" by the repair facility.

There are any number of things that can set off the water indicator and NONE of this is my fault - It is simply not fair to demand I pay for something I did not do

I appreciate any thoughts...

Cheers, James
