Another fraudulent 9.99 charge...

Last month for the first time I received a mysterious 9.99 charge from "wt411.com". This was on my wifes line so I figured she must have ordered something, but I talked to her about it and she said no. We then looked through her text messages and nothing was there. I called tmobile and the lady on the phone said my wife must have replied to a text and got some sort of trivia or something. She offered to put a block on all "premium services" and I said yes please. It was only once and just a 9.99 fee, I wasn't too worried about it and still figured it was my wifes mistake...somehow. Then, this month I get another 9.99 charge from "sendme", which is also "wt411.com", now I'm pretty upset - the tmobile rep said specifically that these charges would stop and "any and all premium services would be blocked". I chatted with two people last night, one of which ended the conversation after telling me to call wt411, without letting me say anything else. The second was basically the same thing, but the guy had the courtesy to not just end the conversation, I was also on the phone with someone yesterday who also told me to email or call wt411.com.

Then I did some research. Wow!! Tmobile, you have alot of problems with your customers not signing up for this junk and getting billed. How can you allow this? Why don't we receive a text from you to confirm a charge? This isn't $.50 we're talking about...It's $20, which is a good amount of money.

It reminds me of someone stealing my debit card number(in essence the same thing). The only thing is when that happened, my bank immediately credited the charges and fought the battle on their end. Instead what you do is say..."oh...sorry, why don't you give them a call and see what they say". There's no way you're not aware of these problems after the huge number of times this has happened.

Start trusting your customers and stop helping these con-artists steal from us!
