HotSpot My-Tmobile Account Page Issue

I purchased and registed a new 4G HotSpot and a $35 card on 26 September. The next day I created a MyT-mobile account so I could add funds as needed and to check data usage/remaining. On the third day, when I tried to login using My T-Mobile Account Device # and password the web page responded with "The phone number you entered, 520220xxxx , has been canceled. If you feel that this information is incorrect, please contact us at 1-877-453-1304."  I called the toll free number from my T-mobile cell phone and I was told a ticket was opened to solve the HotSpot web page account issue.  Well, it's not solved. I still can't login My T-mobile account. The phone number associated with my hotspot device can't be cancelled because I'm using the hotspot to create this post... T-Mobile, what gives..?
